What a networth actually counts

SkyBlock has no networth stat. Hypixel never tells you what a profile is worth, so every figure you have ever seen, here or anywhere else, is an estimate of what your stuff would sell for today. This one is built with the open source skyhelper-networth library on a price list rebuilt from the live auction house and bazaar. Those prices refresh every 20 minutes and a profile's result is cached for 15, so the number is close to live without hammering the Hypixel API.

It prices every place a profile keeps value, not just the gear you have on.

• Purse and bank coins, at face value
• Armor, equipment and weapons
• Accessories and the accessory bag
• Pets, with their candy and skins
• Wardrobe, inventory, ender chest and personal vault
• Storage backpacks, sacks and essence
• Fishing bag, potion bag and candy bag

On top of each item it adds the upgrades bolted to it, which is where most of the money usually hides. Reforges, enchantments, hot potato and fuming books, recombobulators, gemstones and dungeon stars all carry a market price of their own.

The museum is the one thing it does not price. That data comes from a separate Hypixel endpoint the calculator does not read yet, so a profile with a stacked museum reads lower here than on a tool that counts it. Worth knowing before you put two numbers side by side.

Why two networth calculators give you different numbers

Run the same profile through two sites and the totals will not match. That is normal, and four things cause most of the gap.

The price list. There is no official price for anything in SkyBlock. One tool takes the lowest Buy It Now, another averages recent sales, another reads bazaar buy orders where its rival reads sell orders. Prices also move while you are looking at them, so the number you got this morning is not the number tonight.

The co-op bank. This calculator adds the whole profile bank to the total, and on a co-op that bank is shared by everyone on the profile. Three players sharing a co-op with 500 million in the bank each show that same 500 million. Nothing is broken, the same coins are simply being counted on three profiles.

Soulbound gear. Some tools fold it into the headline, some strip it out. This one shows you both, because the right answer depends on what you are asking. Total is everything you own. Tradeable ignores anything you could never sell, and that is the figure to read if you want to know what you could actually cash out.

Everything nobody can price honestly. The museum, cosmetics, one-off items with no real market. There is no true price, so calculators either skip them or guess, and the guess is where the last slice of the difference lives.

What moves the number most

The base item is rarely the expensive part. A clean weapon off the auction house is one price. The same weapon fully kitted is another price entirely, and the gap between them is the stack of upgrades sitting on it.

• Ten hot potato books, then five fuming books on top. Fifteen on one item is the cap.
• Five master stars on a dungeon item.
• A recombobulator to push its rarity up a tier.
• Top-tier enchantment books, gemstones and reforge stones.

So read the Most valuable items panel before the category bars. Twelve rows tend to answer where the coins went faster than any breakdown by category will. After that, purse and bank are the only two lines you can move today. The rest you would have to sell.
