Crystal Nucleus Rewards and Chances Explained
Guide · Updated June 2026
Each Crystal Nucleus reward sits in one shared weighted pool, so your chance for any item is its weight divided by the total, averaged across the items a run rolls. Owning a crystal like Jasper or Ruby removes it from the pool and shifts the odds onto everything else.

What are my odds for each Nucleus reward?
A completed Nucleus run, where you place all five crystals, rolls a number of rewards from one large pool. Every possible reward carries a weight, and your chance for a specific item is that item's weight over the total weight of the pool. The calculator averages this across the items a run draws so you see a realistic per-run chance rather than a single roll.
Because everything shares one pool, the rarer high-value rewards naturally have smaller weights and the common ones larger weights. There is no separate roll per item; it is all one weighted draw.
How do my perks change the chances?
Perks that improve your luck pull the odds toward the better rewards, and owning a crystal removes it from the pool entirely. Once Jasper or Ruby can no longer drop for you, that weight is redistributed, so every remaining reward becomes slightly more likely.
- High Roller: improves your chance at the more valuable rewards in the pool
- The Mole pet: factors into your overall reward luck for the run
- Owning Jasper or Ruby: takes that crystal out of the pool, raising the odds of everything left
