Every length in SkyBlock is a fixed multiple of real time, so the conversions are exact:
- 1 SkyBlock hour is 50 real seconds
- 1 SkyBlock day is 20 real minutes
- 1 SkyBlock month is 31 SkyBlock days
- 1 SkyBlock year is 12 months, a little over 5 real days
Why the SkyBlock calendar matters
Events run on this calendar. The Dark Auction, Jacob's Farming Contest and the seasonal events each land at set points in the SkyBlock year, and a new mayor is elected once per year, which works out to roughly every five real days.
